Steve Gleason ALS

Today a hero walks the field of Superbowl XLVI Steve Gleason the former Defensive Back for the New Orleans Saints has been stricken with ALS.  In his foundation first ever "make a wish" trip he and Dudley Jourdan, who also has ALS have come to Indy to celebrate the superbowl and life.

ALS is a motor neuron disease that affects the nervous system. It seems to affect each person differently. Steve is loosing his speech, while others loose the use of arms or legs. Its a disease without a cure.  To learn more you can visit Team-Gleason.  [  source  ]
